Dr Aileen Shuey is a consultant psychiatrist with a current appointment to the Community Brain Disorders Assessment and Treatment Service (CBDATS) at the Royal Talbot Hospital at Austin Health. She graduated with Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Tasmania in 2002, prior to obtaining a Master of Psychological Medicine from Monash University in 2010. Her previous career was in Nursing, with a Diploma of Nursing (University of Sydney), and Bachelor of Health Science (Nursing) from Southern Cross University.
Aileen consults over a wide range of adult psychiatry, including depressive, anxiety, and psychotic disorders. She has specific interests in acquired brain injury, neuropsychiatry, somatoform and functional neurological disorders, and perinatal psychiatry.
